What is Menopause?

A natural transition, not a single moment.

Menopause is a physiological transition driven by changes in hormone production, it begins with perimenopause, often several years before the final menstrual period, and can affect multiple systems throughout the body.

Understanding the stages of this transition provides a clearer framework for recognising symptoms, anticipating changes, and making informed decisions about support and care.
